Structure Design was proud to support the delivery of the new Panepane Wharf at the southern end of Matakana Island, strengthening a vital connection between the island and the wider Tauranga community.
The wharf provides safe and reliable access for residents and supports a daily ferry service transporting school children, playing an essential role in everyday life on the island.
Replacing an ageing and unsafe structure, the new wharf delivers a resilient, long‑term solution that improves safety, accessibility, and confidence for the community now and into the future.
