Since entering the engineering profession over seven years ago, Leon Yang has contributed to a diverse range of structures, including educational, public, healthcare, industrial and high-end residential projects, as well as large-scale retirement villages. His expertise also extends to seismic assessment and strengthening design across the country.
Leon is passionate about transforming creative architectural concepts into safe, efficient, and buildable realities. Skilled in designing timber, concrete, steel and hybrid structures, he focuses on constructability and cost-effectiveness while tailoring every solution to each client’s needs.
Collaboration and communication are central to Leon’s approach. He works closely with architects, contractors and consultants to produce well-coordinated designs that minimise on-site issues and deliver strong project outcomes. His Master of Business Management adds a commercial edge to his technical expertise, allowing him to balance engineering precision with practical business considerations such as cost, value and efficiency.
