His portfolio spans commercial, industrial and multi-storey residential projects, as well as medical, educational and community facilities, sports stadia and infrastructure developments.
Brendan’s passion lies in creating practical engineering solutions that make construction smoother and more cost-effective while maintaining strong architectural intent. He collaborates closely with clients, architects and contractors, ensuring clear communication and flexibility throughout the process. Known for his methodical approach and innovative thinking, he focuses on simplifying complex challenges to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

  • Mercy Ascot Hospital Redevelopment – Designed seismic restraints for highly congested service routes using an innovative framing system later adopted by the contractor.
  • Jervois Road Apartments – Five-storey luxury development over a three-level basement, with a second major project now underway for the same client.
  • Forsyth Barr Stadium Foundations, Dunedin – Structural design for the landmark sports facility.
  • Infrastructure Projects, Solomon Islands – Worked on aid-funded reconstruction projects to help rebuild and upskill the local construction industry.
